Merrimack Repertory Theatre has received 16 nominations in the Large Theater category from the Independent Reviewers of New England.

William Donnelly's Homestead Crossing received four nominations, including Best Play, Best New Play, Best Supporting Actor (Ross Cowan) and Best Director-Drama (Kyle Fabel). John Kolvenbach's Half 'n Half 'n Half is nominated for three awards, including Best New Play, Best Actor (Jim Ortlieb) and Best Supporting Actor (Andrew Pastides). Daddy Long Legs is up for five awards, including Best Actress-Musical (Megan McGinnis); Best Actor-Musical (Robert Adelman Hancock); Best Director-Musical (John Caird); Best Musical Director (Laura Bergquist) and Best Musical.

Other nominations went to Ghost-Writer for Best Lighting and Sound Design; The Voice of the Turtle, Best Actor (William Connell), and Mrs. Whitney, Best Supporting Actress (Rebecca Harris).

Sophia Joan Wulsin of Lowell was been nominated for Best Performance by a Child Actor for her performance as Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol at North Shore Music Theatre. The IRNEs will be presented in April.
