December is upon us with its rush of holiday happenings and array of arts activities. And each year, the Brush Art Gallery and Studios' Annual Members Exhibition is a highly anticipated event.

The latest edition opened Nov. 18 and runs through Saturday, Dec. 23. It was an open call with no theme and open to artist members of the Brush and of the New England Sculptors Association. Ellen Wetmore, associate art professor at UMass Lowell, is the show's juror.

All media were welcomed, and a cash prize for Best in Show will be announced at the Artist Reception on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2-4 p.m.
