Nothing says summer like the fun, frothy musical "Anything Goes."

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston continues its 50th Anniversary summer season with the Cole Porter classic, running for eight performances, July 5-15, at the Robinson Theatre, 617 Lexington St., Waltham.

"Anything Goes" is a tap-happy musical-comedy that follows the antics of a nightclub singer, a public enemy, stowaways, a love triangle and more aboard a luxury ocean liner traveling from New York to London.

The show stars well-known Boston talent Leigh Barrett as Reno Sweeney, the role that the late, great Ethel Merman originally created on Broadway.

She's joined by Jared Troilo as Billy Crocker, J. T. Turner as Moonface Martin, and Mark Linehan as Sir Evelyn Oakleigh.

The toe-tapping songs include "Anything Goes," "You're the Top" and "I Get a Kick Out of You."

Tickets are $39-$66 and available at www.reaglemusictheatre.org or call 781-891-5600 or at the box office.

NEW DATES FOR "MOULIN ROUGE!": The world premiere, pre-Broadway opening of "Moulin Rouge! The Musical" at Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston has been changed to July 10. It was originally slated to begin June 27, but the new opening date is due to a construction-related issue connected to the theater's renovation and not related to the show itself. The issue involved the steel grid above the stage. It has been resolved and is safe. The show will run through Aug. 19, and a gala performance previously scheduled for July 22 will now be held on July 29. Patrons with tickets for any performances affected by the date change will be notified by email and phone, and can exchange their tickets for a performance later in the run.
