If you're trying to keep your restless kids out of trouble during February vacation week, there's plenty for them to do -- and you can join them.

  • -- Lowell National Historical Park has activities planned the whole week for families and kids of all ages, including ice-skating and swimming sessions, art projects, trips to see Escape from Planet Earth, and even Jedi training.   • -- There are only a few weeks left to catch the "Suited for Space" exhibit at the American Textile History Museum in Lowell.


    The exhibit, which features space suits worn throughout testing and training from Project Mercury to the Skylab program, ends on Sunday, March 3. For information, visit
