GROTON -- Student directors at Lawrence Academy take center stage Thursday-Saturday, May 12-14, with a showcase of one-act plays under their direction.
Six plays are featured and will be presented on the stage of the Richardson-Mees Performing Arts Center.
They include The Blueberry Hill Accord by Daryl Watson, directed by James Finneral; I Dream Before I Take the Stand by Arlene Hutton, directed by Paige Beede; In Memory of Calvinball by Erin Moughon, directed by Talman Fortune; Duly Noted, created and directed by Shae McDonald and inspired by an idea from Riley & Soren; The Man Who Couldn't Dance by Jason Katims, directed by Katelyn Reichheld; and Check, Please! by Jonathan Rand with Khloe Hartner, Louisa Long, Lisa Li, Zach May and Julian Travis.
Thursday's performance is at 7:30 p.m. Those on Friday-Saturday are at 8 p.m.
