"Jersey Boys," the unforgettable musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, is on stage through Sept. 1 at North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly.

Performed in the round, the Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of four guys from North Jersey, who were just that — Jersey boys — until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard — and the fans just couldn't get enough.

But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage was a very different story — a story that has made them an international sensation all over again.

Winner of the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, the show features the group's many top 10 hits, including "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Walk Like a Man," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" and "Oh, What a Night — December 1963."

Featured are Jonathan Mousset as Frankie Valli. He's making his NSMT debut in the role that he recently played at the Ogunquit Playhouse to critical and audience acclaim. Joining him are Andres Acosta as Tommy DeVito, Luke Hamilton as Bob Gaudio and Alex Puette as Nick Massi.

"We are proud to present the Massachusetts regional premiere of 'Jersey Boys,'" said Bill Hanney, NSMT owner/producer. "People have seen the show on Broadway and in touring productions, but they've never seen it like this. They will experience the show from all sides in our unique, in-the-round theater in an immersive production."
