LOWELL -- The Middlesex Community College Theater Department will present William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" Thursday and Friday, Dec. 6-7, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 8, at 2 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 9, at 2 p.m. The performances will take place in the MCC Theatre, 5 E. Merrimack St. (rear entrance).

"Twelfth Night" is Shakespeare's comedy of gender confusion, in which a young woman disguises herself as a man to be near the count she adores, only to be pursued by the young woman he loves.

Tickets are $15 (MCC students, staff and faculty $10) and may be purchased in advance or at the door.
