NASHUA, N.H. -- The Art Gallery at Rivier University is showing Shadow Worlds: The Child in Photojournalism through Dec. 8, an exhibition that examines complex human situations through images of children. It will reopen Jan. 17-Feb. 18 and is free and open to the public.
The exhibition focuses on children as members of a global society, exploring their physiological well-being, safety, sense of being loved and appreciated, freedom to hope for a fulfilling future, and their inner disposition to participate in something larger than themselves.
The Art Gallery is located in on the second floor of Memorial Hall on the Rivier campus at 420 South Main St. The gallery is open Monday-Wednesday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Thursdays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
