If you've got 10 minutes to spare, Littleton's Cannon Theatre is ready to entertain you with its 10-Minute Play Festival of carefully curated short plays, on stage this weekend and next.
A well-written short play is a delightful way to experience live theater in small doses. And folks at Cannon have chosen an array of short pieces that are thought-provoking and entertaining.
The line-up includes "Head Space" by Cynthia Arsenault; "People Will Talk" by Scott Mullen; "The Audition" by Kathleen O'Connor; "God on the Couch" by Dan O'Day; "Emotional Baggage" by Jake Lewis; "Recess" by Kara Emily Krantz; "Independence Day" by Rhea MacCallum; "Where Is This Train Going" by Bruce Guelden; "Absolution" by Michael Waterson; and "The Juliet Effect" by Sem Megson.
Performances at the 410 Great Road theater are Fridays, June 7 and 14, and Saturdays, June 8 and 15, at 7:30 p.m., with matinees both Saturdays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 at www.thecannontheatre.com or call 978-448-2108.
